Obituary For Norma Black, November 16 1938 – February 13 2026

Norma Lee Black, a resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma, passed this life on February 13, 2026, at the age of 87. She was born November 16, 1938, in Henryetta to Silas and Francis Black — this Obituary For Norma Black honors her life and legacy.

Norma attended First Baptist Church of Dewar and worked for many years as a teller at American Exchange Bank. She was known for her kind heart, dedication to her work, and love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jeanie Summers; her brother-in-law, Glen Swan; and her beloved cat of 18 years, Angel.

She is survived by her children: Jan Lamb and husband Tommie of Henryetta; Lori Maijub and husband John of Bearden; Teri Hold and Laurie Taylor of Austin, TX ; DeeAnn Favinger and husband Mike.
Grandchildren: Jason Walters, Joshua Huggins, Jeremy Huggins and Erin Barker.
She also leaves behind many great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Brother: Ron Black of Henryetta.
Sister: Mary Swan of Henryetta.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Westlawn Cemetery. A family gathering will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Rogers Funeral Home.

Norma will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
